Bocote Trays
The wild array of patterns within this live edge bocote becomes accentuated with softened edges and a scalloped surface. Finished with a food safe beeswax, these can be used as plates with direct contact and easy cleaning.
Pushing away from a traditional approach, the goal was to resemble a piece a furniture, highlighting the top surface as an aesthetic emphasis instead of a utilitarian strap.
