Mauve Electric Guitar
Asymmetry and a gold details define the unique shapes of the body and pickguard of this solid purple heart electric guitar. Since this wood species is highly dense, large pockets were routed out of the front and back surfaces to reduce weight.
Pushing away from a traditional approach, the goal was to resemble a piece a furniture, highlighting the top surface as an aesthetic emphasis instead of a utilitarian strap.
