The trend of wood slabs with metal legs has become a common sighting, though often appearing disjointed. Capturing the ends of the slab with extruded aluminum T-Bar, and a laced veneer frame with drawers underneath, cohesion feels accomplished.
Pushing away from a traditional approach, the goal was to resemble a piece a furniture, highlighting the top surface as an aesthetic emphasis instead of a utilitarian strap.
